Fun with Friends

Had a great time today going out with the Pastor of our Church, Jay Underwood and his family, Julie, Jack, Will, Lily, Austin and Geanna..We went to help them pick out their Christmas tree and enjoy some sledding fun...Our youngest daughter came down sick on our way up to the snow and slept the whole afternoon away in the car..Poor thing..We all had a great time and enjoyed playing in the snow and being in God's beautiful creation..The Underwood's found a beautiful tree and everyone made it back home in one piece..Which is a miracle in itself..The boys even enjoyed a little off-roading..All of you that really know me, know how hard it is to keep my mouth shut and enjoy the ride..But I managed to do just that for once..I couldn't possibly upload all my favorites but here's just a few photos from the day...

Merry Merry Christmas!!!

I've been asked several times this winter about taking indoors Christmas photos for Christmas cards..I generally don't enjoy indoor photos like I do outdoors, because the lighting is always an issue..However, I decided to step out of my comfort zone a little and took this cute families pictures..I didn't freeze, have to walk 10 miles, or drag a lb. of dirt back home..Quite a pleasurable experiance I must add..Just wanted to share a few of those photos...

Pence's Family Portraits

This is a great family with 3 very energetic boys...It was my pleasure to capture their family photos this year.. The colors were absolutely magnificent with fall coming to an end..We had 5 lbs. of mud caked on the bottem of our shoes when we were done but it was all worth it at the end..Did I mention we even got enough exercise for a whole entire week taking these photos. I talked them into hiking up a hill to get some gorgeous colors..and they were very good sports about it..

McCartney Senior Pictures

I was referred to this sweet family by a past photo shoot victim, thank you Kim, and I thoroughly enjoyed taking McCartney's senior photos...Graduating high school seems just like yesterday to me..I look at these "kids" and can't believe that in a blink of an eye, I became a "real" adult..Although McCartney was quite shy I did manage to get a few smiles out of him..Here's a few of my favorites..I absolutely love the fall colors...

Brookins Wedding

When Amy, now Mrs. Brookins, asked me to capture her wedding, I was so excited to be a part of this special day..You see, I've know Amy since she was about 5 years old..Our families crossed paths many years ago and it had been years since I had talked to Amy...After looking at my calendar her wedding day fell on a day I couldn't be there..So, I called my good friend Holly and asked her to fill my spot...I had the privilage of editing all the photos Holly took...Amy was an absolutely gorgeous bride and I loved attending her wedding while editing the photos...Here's a few of my favorites..
